The Weary Return – What are the Lessons from Kilimanjaro?

Having spent seven days on a mountain, we have been reflecting on the lessons learnt and whether this is a good way to build commercial relationships. We can honestly say that through the fundraising, training and climb, we now as a team know each other better than some family members. In many cases, we have shared experiences, fears and had some of our most honest conversations in years. The Road to Kilimanjaro – Resilience – a Life Skill

You are probably wondering how the training regime and fundraising has been going for Sarah Linton and Jason Roberts Kilimanjaro adventure. With only 69 days to go, we have started to train in earnest. Spinnaker Yachts Sailing Day … From a Psychological Viewpoint

Having recently taken part in the successful sailing day organised by Zircon and Spinnaker Yachts I was struck by the insight into people that such a day can produce. It is recognised that placing someone in an ‘alien’ environment, such as a 41 foot yacht, out of their normal comfort zone, results in them having to focus almost exclusively on the task in hand.
